The much-anticipated Salty 'Sea'esta is just around the corner! Mark your calendars for Saturday, June 7, from 12pm to 8pm, at the Ada Ryan Gardens.
This year’s event offers a wide array of free activities and attractions for all ages, helping the entire community get behind the annual Cuttlefest celebration. Explore a selection of market stalls offering crafts and goods, as well as a number of food and beverage vendors. Keep an eye out for our roving artists, who will be adding a touch of magic to the gardens and don’t miss the star of the show, Sparkles the Inflatable Cuttlefish!
To make sure everyone can partake in the festivities, we are pleased to offer a free bus service provided by Des' Transport. This service will transport you to and from the event.

- Adelaide Kite Flyers – Kite displays at Rotary Park during the day and illuminated kites after dark
- Cartoon Guy – Drawing live illustrations throughout the event

- Evelyn Roth’s Nylon Zoo – Storytime sessions inside Sparkles the Inflatable Cuttlefish, and a children's parade with additional giant inflatable sea creatures

- EMS VR Goggle Tent – Featuring the Megafauna of the Great Southern Reef experience, with new cuttlefish footage and a humpback whale and calf

Salty ‘Sea’esta is free to attend and open to all ages. With music, markets and lots of fun, it’s the perfect way to experience Cuttlefest.
And don’t forget the good times keep rolling with the Salty Sunday event taking place on Sunday at the Whyalla Foreshore Rotary Park. Come and join us for a chilled event taking place from 10am-1pm. Adelaide Kite Flyers will be back, the Whyalla Car Enthusiasts group will have a static display, our roving artists will entertain the crowd, Emma Taylor will provide the music and some food and beverage vendors will be set up.
