Aquatic experiences attract divers and snorkelers where ocean and sea life-loving adventure seekers unearth the natural wonders of Whyalla under the sea.
Sea creatures abound where you can encounter resident dolphins, Giant Cuttlefish and other cephalopods, numerous fish species and anemones.
The seascapes change from rocky ledges to sea grass meadows and shell grit and muddy bottoms including an old jetty and channel resulting in numerous macro habitats and species to unearth.
Whyalla has a local dive shop where equipment can be hired and purchased, dive buddies can be found to dive with and groups can be booked to experience Whyalla under the sea. Whyalla Visitor Centre 1800 088 589.
